Red Velvet Joy Recent Visuals Have Korean Netizens Baffled
On March 29, 2024, a post titled "Irene and Joy's current looks" was shared on a popular South Korean online community forum. The original poster (OP) shared photos of the two Red Velvet members from fan calls.
In the comment section of the post, Korean netizens expressed their shock over Joy's visuals. Since January, it has been speculated that Joy has undergone double eyelid surgery. This move was criticized by Korean netizens, with people saying she ruined her visuals.
Amid the backlash, ReVeluvs defended Joy and said the swelling from the surgery just needs to go down, and she will soon start resembling how she used to look. However, Korean netizens believe Joy's visuals have only gotten worse.
People claimed they did not believe it was Joy and wondered how her surgery ended up that way. Some even claimed that she "ruined" her face.
Some comments read:
- "Is that really Joy? How did her surgery end up like that?"
- "Double eyelids Joy... How did it end up this way?"
- "These two are the most popular members of Red Velvet, so what is going to happen now... Joy ruined her face with surgery... I think that Red Velvet's time is up."
- "Who is her doctor?"
