What Happened to the 'Pick Me Trip in Bali' Cast? Reason They Were Detained on the Island
On April 26, the Korean media outlet SPOTV News reported that the production team of the upcoming entertainment program was stranded in Bali after the Balinese authority detained them for illegal filming.

According to the news, the authorities caught them filming without permission from the local government and it became a problem when their passports were confiscated. They were scheduled to return to Korea on April 25, but due to the investigation, it was moved and they are now scheduled to go back as early as next week.
It is reported that out of 30 cast & staff members, including Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, Apink's Bomi, Secret Number Dita, broadcaster Choi Hee, and former I.O.I-turned-actress Lim Nayoung were stranded in Indonesia.

They are currently staying in a hotel while being investigated but those who have succeeding schedules in Korea were taking follow-up measures as well as emergency adjustments to their schedules due to the unexpected incident.
As per a call with an agency official, they confirmed the news and told Xports News:
"It is true that the cast and production crew have been detained. We are awaiting news from them."

SPOTV also cited complaints from the cast members, adding:
- "We are staying in Bali, but even the cast does not know the exact reason for their detention. It is frustrating that the production team is not sharing the circumstances of the situation."
- "This situation is embarrassing. I think we will be able to understand the situation once all investigations are completed. We are working to return home quickly."

Meanwhile, the aforementioned idols were present in Bali to film for KBS JOY's "Pick Me Trip in Bali," a travel entertainment program in which the participants' travel paths are created according to the viewers' participation or "picks."
It will be broadcast for the first time in the last week of May and through this season, the show attempts to open a new era highlighting female power through the combination of Hyoyeon, Bomi, Choi Hee and Nayoung, the so-called, "K-Goddesses."
In addition to this, this Bali episode goes beyond famous tourist destinations and experiences hidden local travel that only locals know about, and this entire process is also decided by viewers' picks.
