Prior to the release of his first mini-album, Lee Dongyeol, also known as XIAO, garnered attention for his unconventional teaser photos! Indeed, he broke gender stereotypes by flaunting his slim waist by wearing crop tops!

In April, Lee Dongyeol raised fans' excitement especially HONEY10 (UP10TION fandom) when he launched his official solo social media platforms.

At the same time, he announced that he will be embarking on his journey as a solo artist, confirming the release of his 1st mini-album, "HOWLING" on May 8.

Starting on April 29 until May 1, Dongyeol consecutively dropped his concept photos and not once did he disappoint!

In his CONCEPT PHOTO #1, he stunned fans with his dreamy visuals and on the second set of his photos, he shocked netters by revealing his solid abs and slim waist wearing a crop half shirt!

As if it's not enough, his CONCEPT PHOTO #3 then boasts his captivating visuals by wearing a cropped jacket and shirt! Its burnt details and fake tattoos on his chest added to his sexiness, completely shedding his usual boyish charm and rather exuding a more mature vibe.

When his photos were uploaded, fans were truly left speechless by the change in the image of the idol. On X, fans posted:

When he debuted in UP10TION in 2015, he was loved as the cute and bubbly maknae of the group.

Amid their rise in the music market especially in Korea and Japan, the team experienced various factors that pushed back their peak such as member re-organization, military enlistment, COVID-19 and departure of members from the agency.

In 2023 then, he expressed the desire to re-debut and drew more attention for his various charms after joining Mnet's "Boys Planet." Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the 8th episode and failed to join the debut lineup for ZEROBASEONE.

After signing with PA Entertainment when his contract with TOP Media expired, he then opened his door as a solo artist with a bolder image.

"Howling," which will be officially released on May 8 is expected to be an album that captures Lee Dongyeol's musical capabilities and charm, which have become more mature than during his group activities. It depicts the growth process from an idol to a solo artist.

On the same day, he will also hold a fan signing event and a fan showcase to meet with fans.
