May has finally started its pace, marking a new chapter for K-pop acts this year. To measure the increasing popularity of various K-pop artists, the Korean Business Research Institute officially released its newest brand reputation rankings involving K-pop boy groups.

According to sources, the organization collected data from April 11 to May 11. The results were then determined by analyzing popularity-related factors such as the participation of consumers, coverage from the media, and the artists' overall engagement with their fans.

Here are the 10 most popular K-pop boy groups in May 2024!

1. SEVENTEEN

With a brand reputation index of 5,046,444, SEVENTEEN claimed the No. 1 spot for May. The boy group is also gaining traction for their activities, promotions, and social media updates.

2. TWS

TWS followed with a brand reputation index of 4,178,053, earning them No. 2.

3. NCT

In No. 3, NCT ranked with a brand reputation index of 2,792,964.

4. EXO

EXO placed No. 4 with a brand reputation index of 2,609,545.

5. BTS

For the month of May, BTS rounded the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,427,988.

6. THE BOYZ

THE BOYZ earned No. 6 with a brand reputation index of 2,168,339.

7. Super Junior

Super Junior took over the No. 7 spot with a brand reputation index of 2,067,370.

8. SHINee

SHINee earned eighth place with a brand reputation index of 1,942,029.

9. Stray Kids

Stray Kids received a brand reputation index of 1,684,185, which led them to claim No. 9 this May. The octet also gained immense buzz across online communities and social media for making their debut at the Met Gala.

10. ASTRO

Lastly, ASTRO completed the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 1,453,800.
