Yujin had an early introduction to K-pop. In 2018, she was revealed to be a contestant on the survival program "Produce 48," where she represented Starship Entertainment. Eventually, Yujin managed to claim fifth place during the final evaluation, thus debuting with the project girl group IZ*ONE.

On October 29, IZ*ONE officially released their debut mini album "Color*IZ" and title track "La Vie en Rose." This was followed by consecutive bops such as "Violeta," "Fiesta," "Suki to Iwasetai," "Secret Story of the Swan," "Panorama," and many more.

IZ*ONE gradually became one of the best-selling K-pop acts of their time, as the group eventually garnered massive traction across Asia, especially South Korea and Japan. Due to their success, the members, including Yujin, benefitted from their immense success.

Unfortunately, IZ*ONE disbanded on April 29, 2021, as members of the group went their separate ways. As for Yujin, she returned to Starship Entertainment as a trainee.

However, that didn't stop Yujin from pursuing a singing career, as she later re-debuted alongside IZ*ONE bandmate Jang Wonyoung with IVE on December 1, 2021. For their debut, the group released their first-ever single "ELEVEN."

IVE received explosive feedback from K-pop fans, as the group continued to shatter expectations with their diverse music, alluring choreographies, group chemistry, and stage presence.

"ELEVEN" was followed by bop tracks such as "LOVE DIVE," "After LIKE," "Kitsch," "I AM," "Baddie," and "HEYA." When the group made progress with their music and solid core fanbase, they shot up immediately and became one of fourth-gen's leading acts.

IVE has also earned from their concerts for the ongoing first world tour "SHOW WHAT I HAVE," which includes stops in Asia, North America, Europe, and many more.

Apart from her music career, Yujin has also earned from IVE's group endorsements for various brands, as well as her solo deals. IVE has endorsed brands such as Papa Johns Pizza, Pepsi, and Puma APAC.

Yujin also earns by being a songwriter since she's also credited for writing the lyrics in "With*One" in IZ*ONE's "Oneiric Diary," and "Heroine" in IVE's "I've IVE."

With her longtime experience as a singer, former music show MC in "Inkigayo," and brand ambassador, fans are curious as to how much Yujin has earned in her career.

According to sources, Yujin has an estimated net worth of $5 million USD to $10 million USD as of 2024. IVE is currently making their mark through their promotions for "I've Switch" and title tracks "HEYA" and "Accendio."
