In a show, THIS idol revealed that she was crowned as the prettiest student in their school before. Do you agree?

On May 19, the recent episode of MBC's entertainment program "King of Mask Singer" aired, featuring the battle of challengers "Hourglass" and "Golden Daughter."

After losing the second round, "Hourglass" removed her mask and surprised viewers after revealing herself to be IVE Liz.

Here, she introduced herself and showed gratitude, saying:

"I felt pressure because I came here to represent my IVE members, but I really felt grateful that I was able to advance to the second round and perform well without any tension."

In particular, her first appearance was aired on May 12th, where she won against NCT 127 Jungwoo's older sister, Kim Min Ah. At the time, they had a duet battle singing Kim Sejeong's Flower Way (Prod. By ZICO).

Indeed, she ultimately won the viewers and judges' hearts with her soft, heavenly & pure vocals, not to mention her stable tone & perfect song interpretation despite feeling nervous.

In the second round then, Liz impressed with her cheerful and lovely charm singing IU's "Red Shoes" which earned her favorable reviews from celebrity judges.

But aside from her vocals, Liz also stunned with her princess-like beauty in a blue dress and blonde hair, reminiscent of Cinderella.

During the interview, she wasn't able to hide her popularity and confirmed that she was selected as the prettiest in their school in middle school. The IVE member narrated:

"There was a small entertainment agency in Jeju Island. When people came to our school and asked, 'Who's the prettiest girl here?' They (unanimously) selected, 'Kim Jiwon (Liz's real name)."

The MC then said:

"There is no other possible candidate other than Jiwon?"

The female idol then made the viewers' hearts flutter as she confidently said, replied:

"That's right~"

Later in 3rd year of middle school then, Liz eventually decided to push her aspiration to become a singer and joined Starship's open audition. She passed the screening, leading her to join the company as a trainee in 2019.

Liz trained for about two years until she was finally selected for IVE's debut in 2021.

Although she's the group's main vocalist, Liz is always a hot topic for her excellent elegant beauty that matches her stage name, Elizabeth.

Not only K-pop enthusiasts were fond of her visuals but even her co-member Rei confessed that she found Liz as the most beautiful among IVE members.
