A famous female idol became a hot topic after her photos with her pre-debut love star were leaked.
On May 21, an X account uploaded leaked photos of tripleS Kim YooYeon prior to her official debut. According to the OP, they dated before she became a K-pop idol and broke up once she entered the music world.
In the photos, the former couple was swimming in a pool, as well as having a date inside a building.
Fans then confirmed that it was the female idol after finding photos of her wearing the same outfits on her social media account.
Most of the time, Korean fans are appalled after finding out that their favorite idols are dating or have dated before.
A lot of cases happened when K-pop idols apologized and even took a break from their activities to "reflect" as if they committed a crime.

Initially, people thought that YooYeon would gain the same negative energy and criticism given that she's one of the most popular members of the rising 4th-gen girl group with 24 members, tripleS.
She's also the leader of the sub-units Acid Angel from Asia, EVOLution, and ACID EYES, who popularized the songs "Generation," "Rising," "Girls' Capitalism," and more.
Shockingly, K-netizens showed a different reaction to her leaked photos with her former boyfriend and criticized those who leaked them.
Even before her debut, Kim YooYeon was already a popular university student, and was called the "Goddess of Ehwa University." She attended the prestigious school under the Science Department.
With her visuals, pleasing personality, and intelligence, it is not impossible if she dated before.
K-Netz joked that they would have been more surprised if she had actually been single all her life with such rare beauty.
Here are some of the reactions from fans:
- "It doesn't seem like there will be any damage at all. She dated them when she wasn't thinking about becoming a celebrity, and from the beginning, their fans saw the feeling of being a 'god class' as their charm."
- "It’s before debut, what’s wrong? Isn’t it strange that she doesn’t date with that face?"
- "Wow, it’s creepy that they’re taking pictures of all that and keeping it."
- "I don't think there will be any major damage? Are there any fans who thought she never had a boyfriend in the first place?"
- "Isn’t this a popular, top-ranked member who flirts with both male and female fans through pseudo-relationships? I think there are some fans who have a lesbian tendency, but those fans must have been a bit shocked. They shouldn't get too caught up in the fact that she turned out to be not a lesbian."
Meanwhile, recently this May, tripleS served the music scene as a whole group through "Assemble 24," starting with S1 and ending with S24.
Their first full-length album, "Assemble 24" contains 10 attractive tracks that decorate their first complete album, including the title song, "Girls Never Die."
This is a song chosen as the title through a vote (gravity) participated by WAV (official fandom name), and is a work that reveals the girls' unwavering will even in the face of hardship and difficulty. They worked together with VENDORS and EL CAPITXN, the creator of their hits, "Generation" and "Girls Capitalism."
