Los Angeles, CA - TXT member Taehyun recently made a heartbreaking confession during a livestream, revealing the grueling conditions he endured while preparing for the group's current tour.
꺼내면서도 “약간… 나답지않은데?” 하는 얘기가

준비하다가 너무 슬프고 우울하고 답답해서 밤에 혼자서 방안에서 울었대 아니ㅣ 아니.. 아니………… 아니 심지도 소리도 안나고 숨죽여서 눈물만 뚝뚝흘렀대.. https://t.co/GiYMSHOppi pic.twitter.com/ji2r1ZjRTn
The HYBE boy group is currently on the US leg of their ACT: PROMISE tour, having successfully completed two shows so far.
During the livestream, Taehyun spoke candidly about the immense physical and emotional toll the preparation took on him.
He disclosed that he was battling illness while practicing, which significantly hindered his performance and caused him severe distress.
"I was sick and couldn't give my best, It was so frustrating and depressing that I ended up crying alone in my room at night." - Taehyun
The revelation sparked immediate concern among fans, who had already noticed signs of exhaustion among the group members, particularly Soobin.
I'm so fucking scared about this, about Soobin's health status as well as all the other members, @BIGHIT_MUSIC we don't need concerts, WE DON'T NEED ANY DAMN CONCERT ANYMORE!!! WE ONLY WANT THEM TO REST!!! let them rest they are human!!! pic.twitter.com/lJWgoZXqTK

it is concerning that we are two days in to your and on both days this has happened to soobin. that company need to do better. jeopardising their health is not ok. even when exhausted they give their all, you’re going to burn them out. let them rest.

Despite assurances from Soobin that he was alright, the concerns persisted, amplifying after Taehyun's confession.
"I couldn't sing until the day before the rehearsal. I'm supposed to be a singer so during the time I couldn't sing, I was so upset I've been so sad, depressed, and frustrated while preparing that I cried once at night. I cried alone in my room. There was no sound, just tears flowing. In my mind, crying should come with sound, but there was no sound, just tears kept flowing." - Taehyun
Adding to the distress, fellow TXT member Yeonjun joined the livestream's comments to offer support to Taehyun and revealed that he had practiced even with a high fever of 39 degrees Celsius (102.2 degrees Fahrenheit).

While Yeonjun's intention was to highlight Taehyun's unwavering dedication, the information alarmed fans and sparked outrage towards HYBE for allowing such conditions.
Fans took to social media to express their horror and dismay, criticizing HYBE for not adequately protecting the health and wellbeing of its artists.
"This is unacceptable," one fan tweeted. "No one should have to work through such conditions, especially not at the cost of their health."
As of now, HYBE has not responded to the growing backlash.
Meanwhile, TXT is scheduled to continue their US tour, with their next concert set for May 22 in Los Angeles.
Fans remain hopeful that the company will take the necessary steps to ensure the members' health and safety moving forward.
what is so hard about giving your group a break. why overwork them? txt is super successful so there is no need to always have them work on projects. there is clearly something wrong with bighit for making taehyun practice with a 102 degree fever. do better. pic.twitter.com/l71zXJgZ8J
