On May 25, Instiz's iChart shared that aespa's "Supernova," which is the pre-release track of the group's upcoming album "Armageddon," had achieved a PAK or a "Perfect All-Kill."
According to iChart, "Supernova" secured No. 1 in multiple real-time, weekly, and daily charts, alongside the TOP100 in MelOn, Genie (TOP 100 daily and real-time), YouTube (Top songs), FLO (24Hours), VIBE (Today Top 100), Bugs (Songs Chart, daily and real-time).
Overall, "Supernova" also became aespa's second song to claim a perfect all-kill across the music charts since their title track "Savage" in 2021.
Earlier on May 24, MYs voiced out frustration online due to aespa's initial hurdles in achieving a PAK on the charts. "Supernova" has dominated the music charts in South Korea since its release on May 13, but fans wondered why the song wasn't able to attain a Perfect All-Kill.
The concerns eventually reached the platform iChart, which uploaded a post containing an apology, and an explanation regarding aespa's obstacle. According to the chart, the hindrance was due to "Supernova" hitting No. 3 on platform VIBE.
"We're sorry we couldn't make aespa's 'Supernova' a perfect all-kill," iChart tweeted.
We're sorry we couldn't make aespa's 'Supernova' a perfect all-kill 🪐🪐🥲
The chart then explained, "We can't intervene with Vibe's ranking." This saddened fans, as some expressed frustration regarding the potential to secure a PAK and suggested iChart to remove VIBE.
The way we did not had a single response in 4 comebacks about Vibe 💀💀💀💀💀💀 https://t.co/LQC2248pB9

Okay if you remove VIBE it will be more better since not many people use VIBE 🥹, consider it please. There’s transparency in their charting. https://t.co/esRnhpn6Xr
