Prior to dreaming of becoming an idol, Yuqi is living the best life in China, attending one of the most prestigious schools, Beijing 101 Middle School.

One of the alumnus of the same school is President Xi Jinping and to enter, a student's grades must be in the top 5%. Being the genius she is, Yuqi entered Beijing 101 easily and even ranked 7th in the whole school.

If she continued, there was a possibility that Yuqi could attend Harvard, but she left China to pursue her long dream of becoming an idol. Yuqi's parents were initially against the path that she was about to take, but she fought for it and her hard work undoubtedly paid off.

Similar to Yuqi's life, Wendy is also a genius-turned-K-pop idol. Back when she was still in Canada, she had a promising academic background. From being able to speak four languages (English, Korean, French and Spanish), Wendy also ranked 5th in the Minnesota State Mathematics Competition.

On top of that, she even received President Obama's award, and her card was plastered with A's, earning a GPA of 3.93 out of 4.

But her aspiration to become a singer prevailed, and the rest is history! She is now K-pop's one of the best main vocalists and is a member of most iconic girl groups in history!

RIIZE Anton

RIIZE Anton's life is quite interesting because he was born in LA and is initially preparing to become a professional swimmer.

It seems like he had a normal childhood in the U.S., but little did people know, that he was actually the son of South Korea's famous singer Yoon Sang and veteran actress Shim Hye Jin.

Although his family tried to raise him with an ordinary life abroad, they weren't able to stop his innate "celebrity" genes as he left his athletic career to start anew in Korea as an idol.

His father was against it at first, but after RIIZE's debut, Yoon Sang has been showing his all-out support to his son, who decided to follow his path.

SEVENTEEN Hoshi

Another athlete-turned-idol is Hoshi, the leader of SEVENTEEN's performance unit and also the group's main dancer.

Before becoming an idol, he used to be a promising Taekwondo athlete who was a 4th dan black belt and used to sweep national competitions.

Despite this, his love for dance and SHINee reigned leading him to pursue an idol path.

Stray Kids Lee Know

Last but not least, Lee Know is also the main character of an inspiring drama-like life.

At first, he started as a pro dancer who is also on his way to becoming a choreographer. He used to work as a backup dancer for BTS on various stages and even joined their tour.

Originally, he intended to work behind the stage, but the spotlight is truly meant to be for him!

After being scouted by JYP Entertainment, he trained for only 8 months and was able to debut as Stray Kids, one of the best K-pop groups from the 4th-generation era.
