The month of May is nearing its end and various K-pop groups have made buzz in the industry with their music releases, activities, achievements, and many more.
To measure their popularity, the Korean Business Research Institute officially announced its newest brand reputation rankings involving all K-pop idol groups. According to sources, the institute gathered data from April 16 to May 16.
The results were then determined by analyzing numerous factors contributing to exposure such as the participation of consumers, the artists' coverage from the media, and their overall engagement with fans.
Featuring the Top 10 K-pop groups who trended the most this May 2024!
1. IVE
IVE successfully garnered a brand reputation index of 7,776,870 for May, which led them to claim the No. 1 on the rankings. The group is also gaining attention across the K-pop community for their newest title track "HEYA."
2. ILLIT
ILLIT followed in No. 2 with a brand reputation index of 5,999,192.
3. SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN trailed with a brand reputation index of 5,654,248, earning them the No. 3 spot.
4. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE received a brand reputation index of 4,422,772 for May, earning them the fourth place.
5. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM rounded the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,382,785.
6. BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK secured the No. 6 spot by seeing a brand reputation index of 3,559,473.
7. BABYMONSTER
In No. 7, BABYMONSTER managed to claim a brand reputation index of 3,425,319.
8. TWS
TWS secured No. 8 with a brand reputation index of 2,776,864.
9. BTS
BTS followed with a brand reputation index of 2,406,950, which led them to claim No. 9.
10. NCT
Lastly, NCT completed the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 2,361,386.
