NMIXX members garner applause for performing their song "DICE" acapella.
On May 27, 2024, NMIXX performed at the Shinhan University music festival. The girls performed several of their hit songs, including "DICE."
However, while performing, the girl group experienced technical difficulties. While they performed "DICE," their backtrack suddenly stopped.
That didn't stop the girl group, however. NMIXX opted to sing live, without any form of instrumental or backing track.
Many people pointed out that amid the backlash over fourth-gen and fifth-gen K-pop groups and their lack of live vocal ability, NMIXX is a breath of fresh air.
It was also noted that NMIXX looked excited and happy as they performed live, and did not forget to hype up the crowd as they performed.
Many believe that NMIXX has the best vocal line among fourth-generation K-pop groups, and this only proved it further. Fans called them vocal queens, with many pointing out that they are always consistent with their performances.
If there is one thing the NMIXX members know how to do, it's sing!
This is not the first time NMIXX has been praised for their vocal ability. Amid the university music festival season, Sullyoon has garnered applause for being a visual who also has immense vocal prowess.
