Ahead of their debut, BADVILLAIN, VIVIZ's sister group, is facing controversy after being accused of copying BABYMONSTER.
On May 27, Big Planet Made Entertainment (BPM), home to VIVIZ and SHINee Taemin, announced that its new girl group called BADVILLAIN is finally making their debut on June 3 with their single album, "Overstep."
On the same day, a debut show, "NPOP LIMITED EDITION - BADVILLAIN DEBUT," will be broadcast through Naver NPOP.
It is expected that they will show not only unwavering live performances and unrivaled performances but also their special debut preparation process and the behind-the-scenes story behind their professional appearance.
Meanwhile, the group is comprised of 7 members and will be BPM's new girl group after 3 years since its establishment.
Ahead of its debut, the septet secured support from K-pop fans due to its popular members including Emma from "Street Woman Fighter," Chloe Young from the dance crew 1 Million as well as HU'E and YunSeo from "My Teenage Girl."

Expectations are also high from new idols INA, Vin and Kelly who are said to have the best skills of all time among 5th-gen rookies.
Before their official release, BPM has been promoting them by releasing teaser photos and clips on its official social media sites.
While it received hot responses from its fans, BABYMONSTER fans were skeptical about its concept due to its similarities with the YG group's initial teasers.
First, both groups released a teaser photo where the seven members flaunted their silhouettes on a red background.
Fans also noticed that they have a striking resemblance in terms of the theme, music and logo used, accusing them of plagiarizing BABYMONSTER since the YG group debuted first.
When this reached BADVILLAIN supporters, who were mostly VIVIZ fans as well, they explained that such a scheme and concept weren't unique to BABYMONSTER, as prior to them, BPM has been using the black-red background ever since VIVIZ debuted.
Also, even other artists use this kind of teaser especially when debuting new artists.
Despite this accusation, fans are excited to see the debut of BADVILLAIN, a term used to describe the members who were awakened to a new identity.
The fact that all members have unprecedented skills is spreading through word of mouth, and the pre-released spoiler film and performance video are both predicted to be a sensation, recording over 1 million YouTube views.
