The year 2024 is now halfway, as it's also marked by the start of June. To measure the popularity of K-pop rookie groups, the Korean Business Research Institute officially announced its newest brand reputation rankings.
According to sources, the organization collected data from May 4 to June 4 and only considered K-pop acts that debuted in 2023 or later on.
The results were then determined by analyzing factors such as the artists' coverage from the media, the participation of consumers, and overall engagement.
Here are the 10 most popular K-pop rookie groups in June 2024!
1. ILLIT
ILLIT made it on No. 1 with a brand reputation index of 3,182,785. The group has also made headlines due to their achievements, music, and content.
2. TWS
TWS received a brand reputation index of 2,204,072, earning them No. 2.
3. QWER
QWER claimed No. 3 after receiving a brand reputation index of 2,043,492.
4. tripleS
With a brand reputation index of 1,502,745, tripleS placed in No. 4.
5. BABYMONSTER
BABYMONSTER made it on No. 5 with a brand reputation index of 1,399,474.
6. RIIZE
RIIZE followed in sixth place with a brand reputation index of 1,180,961.
7. ZEROBASEONE
ZEROBASEONE claimed No. 7 with a brand reputation index of 881,700.
8. KISS OF LIFE
KISS OF LIFE claimed No. 8 with a brand reputation index of 874,638.
9. BOYNEXTDOOR
BOYNEXTDOOR took over No. 9 with a brand reputation index of 722,068.
10. UNICODE
UNICODE rounded the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 496,889.
