BIGBANG member G-Dragon may have hinted about his solo comeback!
On the afternoon of May 5, 2024, G-Dragon appeared at the "Innovate Korea 2024" talk show held at the Ryu Keun Chul Sports Complex at KAIST's main campus in Yuseong District, Daejeon.
The talk show featured G-Dragon along with Choi Yong Ho, CEO of Galaxy Corporation, Lee Kwang Hyung, the president of KAIST, and a representative of the students. Earlier that day, G-Dragon had been appointed as a visiting professor in the KAIST's Department of Mechanical Engineering for a two-year period. The BIGBANG member will be giving leadership lectures to students of the university.
When asked about the future of entertainment technology, G-Dragon responded, "I think I need to perform first."
He explained his answer, stating, "Even during my last concert, I performed with good technology, but the technology has been advancing so rapidly every day. There are many things I want to do and can do with it. I am also exploring ways to integrate and harmonize these technologies. I think I need to perform first before using these technologies."
Later on, during the show, some students asked about G-Dragon's comeback plans, which is a topic of interest for many. However, G-Dragon replied, "I came here to ask that too. If you create an algorithm, maybe then I'll know." He then added, "I'm just kidding," smoothly brushing off the questions from the students.
