Na Haeun Left SM Entertainment? Rumor Arises Ahead of New Girl Group's Debut

Ahead of SMNGG's debut in the second half of 2024, the prospective member Na Haeun sparked concerns after THIS. Will she not debut under SM Entertainment anymore?

On May 8, SM Entertainment announced that its first girl group since aespa will finally take off its veil in the fourth quarter of this year.

Prior to their official launch, SM female trainees held a private showcase where the final members of the group will be selected, and later on, the silhouette of eight girls were published.

Since then, official social media accounts dedicated to these trainees were created, but their identities remained anonymous.

When posting photos and videos, their faces were obscured but this didn't stop eagle-eyed fans from speculating the real identities behind the mysterious faces.

Among them, fans strongly believed that one of them was Na Haeun, who originally rose to popularity for her outstanding dance covers of idol songs starting at a young age of 4.

Her first appearance was through SBS's "Star King," where she was dubbed as "Little HyunA" for her adorable cover of "Bubblepop."

Her fame continued after her parents opened the YouTube channel, "Awesome Haeun," which became a platform for her to have a collab with top-tier singers and dancers.

Her influence alone is massive, as her YouTube channel amassed over 5.1 million subscribers.

In April 2022 then, SM Entertainment revealed that Na Haeun signed an exclusive trainee contract with them, leading to speculations that she's preparing to debut in SMNGG.

However, K-pop stans are concerned that this will not happen anymore after keen-eyed netters noticed that her personal Instagram account managed by her mother removed "SM Entertainment" from her bio, piquing curiosity if this means that she's no longer a trainee under the company.

Seeing this, some netizens think that it is for the best, seeing how SM Entertainment treat their girl groups. Na Haeun, born in 2009 is only 15 years old, thus, there are fans who think that it is better for her to wait until she reach a mature age before debuting.

However, there are fans who were frustrated, given that they have been long anticipating her official debut. Fans were then curious if she was kicked out or she intended to leave.

On the flip side, there are internet users who are saying that this is just a mere assumption and it is still not confirmed whether Haeun really left or it might have been a signal of their getting nearer debut.

Afterall, in the K-pop scene, agencies tend to deactivate or delete their trainees past Instagram accounts prior to their group's launch.
