Han Seohee is under fire after trying to set RIIZE Wonbin up amid the idol's comeback promotion.
On June 17, internet users expressed their anger at the notorious former idol trainee and insider Han Seohee after she attempted to "destroy" Wonbin's image amid the release of its new album.
In particular, recently, a netizen took to her Instagram's "Ask Me Anything" to ask her if she has something about Wonbin.
Backed with a said photo of the idol, Han claimed:
"Wonbinnie went to the hun-po? She didn't even get permission from his noona (older sister)."
In Korea, "hun-po" also known as hunting bars/restaurants are places where men usually go to hunt and pick up girls.
Usually, when female fans learn about this, they will exert their efforts to criticize their idols and start canceling them for "betraying" their fans.
Unfortunately, this is the same case that happened to RIIZE inactive member Seunghan, who was put on an indefinite hiatus after his photos dating his girlfriend during his pre-debut days were revealed.
Luckily, BRIIZEs were extra careful this time and decided to fact-check first. After all, Han has a bad reputation among K-pop fans for defaming and insulting other celebrities.
Upon investigating, one netter then revealed that it wasn't Wonbin who was posted by Seohee, but just a lookalike!
In a conversation with a friend, the OP released more photos of the Wonbin's lookalike taken on the same day of May 18.
From the specs, style, facial features, physique and long hair, non-fans will definitely mistake him for the male idol.
However, BRIIZEs know the star better and they can confirm that it was not him! On the said date, Wonbin was not even in South Korea, but the group was traveling to Mexico at the time.
As a result, this backfired on Han Seohee and when she knew about what really happened, she deleted the post and ran away.
In the online forum Instiz then, they called out the female idol for trying to start a fire by using Wonbin, especially during a crucial point.
Fans were in a rage since RIIZE just dropped its 1st mini-album, "RIIZING" on June 17 and if the OP didn't have proofs showing that it wasn't Wonbin, it could have blown up in proportion and ended up hurting both the idol and the group.
With this, fans are calling the attention of SM Entertainment to sue Han Seohee for continuously trying to defame and spread fake news about numerous SM artists lately. Earlier, she was also being linked to NCT members Haechan and Jaehyun.
Here are some of the comments:
- "Han Seohee is going back to jail soon."
- "This time, SM should sue her properly."
- "Send her to KWANGYA."
- "Why are you doing this, really."
- "I just woke up and saw this. I really feel like sh*t. Please get away from my guy. Why are you even doing this?"
- "Guys, please report this to KWANGYA 119. This isn't the first time, but these days, she's been secretly messing with fans. I don't think we can let her get away from it."
- "Wow, they don't even look alike at all."
