NCT Renjun's Alleged 'Sasaeng' Reports Idol to Police + Asks for Public Apology After THIS

An alleged sasaeng revealed that they reported NCT Dream Renjun to the police, even demanding he publicly apologize. What happened?

Recently, Renjun has been complaining about the severe invasion of his privacy from fans and is actively filing legal action against netters' malicious comments, even warning them on Bubble.

On June 20 then, the idol became a hot topic after publicly revealing the phone number of a speculated sasaeng (obsessed fan) who called him through his personal number.

Following that, NCTzens expressed their disgust at the said sasaeng, criticizing her for not respecting the idol's personal space, and also questioning how she was able to obtain Renjun's contact number.

On the same day, the said sasaeng broke her silence through her friend's X, denying that she's a stalker and claiming that she's a victim rather.

In her statement, she refuted that she was a fan of any idol or celebrity, and she just misdialed when attempting to call her friend A.

During their call, she was confused since a man answered and asked him if it was friend A's phone number, or if she changed it.

The said sasaeng who claimed that she had no clue that it was Renjun she called stated that she only called him once and stopped after realizing that she made a mistake.

At the time, Renjun warned her that he was going to report her number, but she didn't pay much attention to it and proceeded to call A's correct number.

After their conversation, she was then confused as to why she'd been getting numerous calls from both local and international numbers, as well as abusive messages.

Still, she originally thought that the man he called was a gangster.

However, she realized that she mistakenly called an idol when people labeled her as a "sasaeng" and after looking into it at X, she found out that Renjun "leaked" her phone number.

She decided to just change her number, but the store said that she will be needing to report it to the police. As a result, she went to the investigation department and reported the idol for the leakage of her private info as well as the false claim that she was a sasaeng.

The male idol's manager was the one who got in touch with the police and the said victim, then apologizing on behalf of Renjun.

The accused sasaeng, however, wants to get a proper apology and explanation from SM and the idol personally, as her number has been leaked to the public without verifying if she's really a sasaeng. As of now, she's still waiting for the idol's side official statement.

Meanwhile, when this was revealed, NCTzens were skeptical about the "victim" claims since misdialing through a name meant she had also saved Renjun's phone number. Also, they weren't sure if she really did call him only once or if she also attempted to do it before.

The full context of the conversation she had with the idol and the reason that triggered the idol to leak her contact information wasn't also verified, thus, fans demanded SM to conduct a proper investigation and take action after fact-checking.

in the meantime, the sasaeng/victim's leaked number has been taken down from Bubble.
