'No Bbaku Tak Jae Hoon' Apologizes After Suggesting cignature Jeewon To Become Adult Video Actress

Earlier on June 19, cignature member Jeewon appeared on the YouTube channel "No Bbaku Tak Jae Hoon."

During the episode, Japanese adult actress Yuna Ogura took notice of Jeewon's physical proportions and suggested her to debut as a porn star. The other hosts tried to deflect and dismiss the remark, but the controversial comment instantly caught flak from netizens.

Following this, the variety show released an official statement on its community on June 21. According to the post, "No Bbaku Tak Jae Hoon" apologized for the incident. The statement acknowledged that this unfortunate incident was due to the fault of the show's production team.

The show also had its production team meet with Jeewon and the representatives of C9 Entertainment to apologize.

The statement also relayed that Tak Hae Hoon had opposed the questions for Jeewon and that the show had apologized to him since his intentions didn't reflect on the editing process.

"No Bbaku Tak Jae Hoon" then expressed regret about not being fully aware of potential societal issues or controversy their oversight might cause. Furthermore, the channel promised to focus more on its content creation to avoid such mistakes.

"Hello. This is the production team of, 'No Bbaku Tak Jae Hoon.'

First of all, to all the viewers who may have felt uncomfortable watching the last 'Tanaka & Yuna Ogura' episode, we bow our heads and apologize to you without any excuses.

This issue is entirely the fault of the production team.

We are also acknowledging that there was no consideration for Jeewon, who joined MC as a newcomer. As viewers were concerned, the production team met with Jeewon herself and the officials of C9 Entertainment to deliver a sincere apology.

We would also like to apologize to Mr. Tak Jae Hoon for the fact that he was discouraged during the recording process after realizing that the question asked to Jeewon was wrong, but it was edited in such a way, and that Mr. Tak's intentions were not reflected during the editing process, which was done for the sake of entertainment.

We have been creating programs to entertain male viewers with the concept of "Nopaku" (no quitting) concept, but as the channel has grown with undeserved love and attention, we regret not being deeply aware that our indiscretions can be socially controversial.

This controversy has prompted all production teams to pay closer attention throughout the content creation process. We will do our best to repay those who support us in 'No BbakuTak Jae Joon.'"

On the same day, C9 Entertainment also addressed the matter through an official statement.

In other news, C9 drew backlash from netizens for Jeewon and Yuna Ogura's dance challenge. To know more about the story, click here.
