Originally aired on SBS's investigative program "Unanswered Questions," the episode has sparked intrigue and speculation across social media platforms.
On the 22nd, "Unanswered Questions" delved into the intricacies of the safe theft from the residence of late actress and singer Goo Hara.
According to an expert:
"I think Goo Hara saw it as a Pandora's box, as it came from her previous cell phone. A person who is very curious about what is related to him in Pandora's box, if it is opened.
A person who is afraid of the high possibility of receiving a decisive blow."
The program revealed details about the stolen safe, which reportedly weighed 31 kilograms but was found to be empty by Goo Hara's brother, Goo Ho In. He said:
"I already took everything important out of the safe while organizing it. When the thief stole it, he just took an empty one."
Central to the episode was the enhanced CCTV footage of the suspect, meticulously restored to reveal clearer details.
Initially obscured by the night camera's glow, the image underwent enhancement through a restoration app, producing a sharper depiction of the suspect's face.
This revelation spurred widespread sharing and discussion online, as netizens scrutinized every aspect for potential clues.
Through expert analysis featured on the program, the suspect was described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 170cm tall, with distinctive facial features including a long jawline and slightly protruding cheekbones.
Notably, the suspect sported an earring on his left ear, a detail that could prove crucial in narrowing down potential leads.
As the enhanced image circulated on the internet, comparisons were drawn to popular rapper Zico, leading to unfounded rumors linking him to the theft.
