This 5th-Gen Male Idol Rumored to Have Had Plastic Surgery Shocks K-Netz With 'Changed Visuals'

A fifth-generation K-pop idol is drawing attention for his changed visuals, with people speculating he went under the knife.

For the past few months, Korean netizens have noticed the stark differences between ONE PACT member Yoon Jongwoo's visuals. The conversation erupted once more after another member, Yedam, garnered attention for his upgraded visuals as well.

Jongwoo first made his debut in 2022 with Black Level under the stage name Ze:U. At the time, he was the group's main dancer and maknae. Sadly, after just a few months with Black Level, he left the group on November 29, 2022.

He became more well-known after competing on "Boys Planet" in 2023 as an individual trainee. He was one of the most popular trainees and even made it to the finals. However, he failed to make the line-up for ZEROBASEONE, ending the show in 13th place.

Following his elimination from the show, Jongwoo, along with other "Boys Planet" contestants Jay Chang, Oh Seongmin, TAG, and Lee Yedam, debuted with ONE PACT on November 30, 2023. However, following their debut, Korean netizens noted how different Jongwoo looked.

Originally having monolids and a wider nose, Jongwoo appeared with a sharper, taller nose bridge. Additionally, he appeared to have gotten surgery on his eyes, making the fold appear deeper and his eyes wider. His jawline also appears to be sharper, and his face overall smaller. These subtle changes caused people to speculate that he had gone under the knife.

The reaction to his visuals sparked different opinions. Some claimed the change was too drastic, and joked that he had "bought a whole new face" for his debut with ONE PACT. They stated that the surgery was especially obvious in his nose. Some long-time fans of Jongwoo claimed it was slightly disappointing that he had gone under the knife since looks like a different person.

Others were more receptive to the change. They stated that he looks pretty and handsome with his upgraded visuals and that it doesn't matter as long as Jongwoo is happy. Many defended the male idol for his decision to go under the knife.
