Billie Eilish Dishes on Friendship With BLACKPINK Jennie & BTS Members — How Close Is She To The K-Pop Idols?

American pop sensation Billie Eilish dished about her connections with popular K-pop idols.

On the 250th episode of tvN's variety show "You Quiz on the Block," which aired on June 26, the show featured a special on the "10,000-Hour Rule." Here, global pop star Billie Eilish appeared as a guest. Of all the things discussed on the show, her friendship with K-pop artists was a major highlight.

Host Jo Se Ho brought up Billie Eilish's 2022 concert in Korea, asking if she remembered seeing RM and J-Hope from BTS, who were in the front row. Billie responded, "It was an honor that they came. They are really wonderful people. I really like them," expressing sincere gratitude for their meeting.

Back in August 2022, Billie Eilish held a concert in Seoul, South Korea. At the time, RM and J-Hope shared videos of themselves enjoying the concert, jumping as they jammed out to Billie Eilish's songs. Later that day, RM and J-Hope shared photos from backstage with Billie Eilish and her brother, Finneas.

Additionally, Billie's friendship with BLACKPINK's Jennie also garnered attention. Jennie had previously made a surprise appearance as the MC at Billie Eilish's listening party in Seoul, which became a hot topic. The American singer spoke about the event, saying, "Everyone really enjoyed it. It was a great honor for me. Having Jennie as the interviewer was wonderful. She's a special friend to me, as I don't have many friends."

Jennie has been friends with Billie Eilish since 2019. The two became acquainted during the girl group's first appearance at Coachella, which cemented a life-long friendship between the two.

Billie Eilish also mentioned that she keeps in touch with Jennie regularly, openly expressing her affection for her. Jo Se Hho joked, "So we're all family starting today, right? Since Yoo Jae Suk is like Jennie's brother." Hearing this, Billie Eilish replied, "Does Jennie know that too?" eliciting laughter from everyone.
