On midnight of June 26, 2024, V sent ARMYs into a stir by posting a teaser poster for his upcoming project.
Just over three months since his English single "FRI(END)S," V is now gearing up to release a new work titled "TYPE 1," which is scheduled to be released on July 9.
This announcement coincides with his bandmate Jimin’s upcoming release, setting the stage for an exciting period for ARMYs as the two BTS members release new music at the same time.

The poster for "TYPE 1" features a striking black and white design, showcasing V shirtless and flaunting his physique. The photo, taken before his military enlistment, presents a slimmer V, contrasting with his recent 10kg weight gain and a more muscular build since joining the army.

However, the mood of "TYPE 1" hints at a narrative of longing and melancholy. The poster includes poignant lines likely from the upcoming song's lyrics:
