Back in 2023, Jennie and Park Seo Joon showed off their close friendship at a Chanel event held in Paris, France. A video went viral of the two posing together for the camera. During the video, Jennie was heard asking if Park Seo Joon was smiling, to which he replied, "Yes, slightly." When Jennie started laughing, Park Seo Joon sweetly hid her from the camera's view for a moment.

Then, in June 2023, Jennie shared a photo with Park Seo Joon from the aforementioned fashion show, proving their close friendship.

However, following the recent video, fans believe that may no longer be the cast. In the video, Jennie was seen sitting on a couch by herself. She glances to her side and spots Park Seo Joon. Soon, the idol gets up and starts interacting with other guests, seemingly avoiding Park Seo Joon.
