3rd-Gen K-pop Idol Openly Shares Plastic Surgery Journey In Bubble — Here's How Fans Reacted

In K-pop, sharing TMIs is another way how artists engage with their fans. Whether it's wholesome or downright hilarious, this certain type of exchange will forever remain a well-known piece of interaction in the K-pop community.

However, some idols may surprise fans with their unexpected stories that would undoubtedly shock them to the core.

On July 5, DAY6 member Dowoon surprised MyDays with his openness. The artist shared a couple of messages on the fan platform Bubble, where he informed fans about how his day went. Surprisingly, Dowoon mentioned that he got Botox treatment for his jaw.

However, the TMI didn't stop there since Dowoon continued to tell fans about other previous cosmetic procedures he had done before including nose fillers during his debut, and shared that it has now disappeared.

Dowoon: "I got Botox today, on my chin area. It was sticking out."

Dowoon: "No, it's because I grind my teeth."

Dowoon: "It's the first time in 10 years visiting the plastic surgeon's office that I went to during my early debut days. During my early debut days, I got fillers."

Dowoon: "But they said it has now dissolved and disappeared. It's been years since it dissolved. It's below the nose, between the two nostrils."

Dowoon then shared his experience of having facial hair removal.

Dowoon: "I teared up getting laser hair removal for my facial hair. I still find the laser the most painful. When the procedure was finished, I went, 'wow."

Dowoon: "It doesn't feel like you're pressing your face onto glass shards. It just feels like needles. Don't get scared, but it hurts so much."

Dowoon: "It felt like needles, but it also felt like going through my philtrum. Does that sound painful?" Wow, I thought the laser was going to pierce through my teeth. But how could it actually pierce through?"
