July has started its course and many K-pop acts have made headlines due to their activities and music releases. To measure their popularity, the Korean Business Research Institute officially announced its newest rankings involving rookie K-pop groups.
According to sources, the organization collected data from June 2 to July 2. The results were then concluded after analyzing several factors such as the participation of consumers, their coverage from the media, and overall engagement.
However, the institute only included K-pop groups who made their debut in 2023 or later on.
Here are the Top 10 most popular K-pop rookie groups this July 2024!
1. ILLIT

With a brand reputation index of 2,158,340, ILLIT successfully dominated the rankings for July.
2. RIIZE
RIIZE claimed the second place after garnering a brand reputation index of 1,991,646. The K-pop boy group has also trended due to their promotions for comeback album "RIIZING" and title track "Boom Boom Bass."

The third place was claimed by none other than tripleS, who received a brand reputation index of 1,396,545.

QWER managed to collect a brand reputation index of 1,297,375, earning them No. 4.
5. TWS
TWS received a brand reputation index of 1,244,609 for July, which placed them at No. 5.

BABYMONSTER followed in No. 6 after gathering a brand reputation index of 1,022,641. The group also came back with their newest single "FOREVER."
