A recent post on BLACKPINK Rosé's Instagram has sparked an intense debate concerning her body among Korean netizens.

On July 15, 2024, Rosé shared several photos to her Instagram Story, with a large number of them being mirror selfies that showcase her figure. Known for her slim physique, the idol showcased her long legs and arm, as well as her stomach with no excess fat. In just one day, her post amassed over five million likes.

However, not everyone had something nice to say.

Soon after her Instagram post was uploaded, a post titled "I'm f*cking jealous of Rosé's body" was uploaded to Nate Pann, a popular online community forum from South Korea. In the post, the author included a photo from Rosé's latest Instagram post.

They added that they are jealous of the BLACKPINK member's body because of how skinny she is, yet she doesn't look like she has sticks and bones.

Korean netizens were divided on the situation. Some people agreed with the original poster, commenting that Rosé's waist-to-hip-to-thigh line was amazing. Others expressed how jealous they were that she was that thing, and yet it does not seem like she is consistently dieting to achieve her weight. It is likely the idol was simply born skinny.

However, not everyone agreed. Others claimed that the idol was too skinny, saying it is exceptionally obvious in journalist photos that don't have any editing or filter. Some claimed that this showed how different the eyes of men and women are, as from a man's perspective, Rosé's body is not desirable.
