Earlier on July 24, Korean news outlet Sports World disclosed that the parents of NewJeans have expressed their support for ADOR and criticized SOURCE MUSIC for its treatment of the members during their trainee days.

On July 25, netizens established a community forum titled, "GFRIEND Yuju posted NewJeans On Her Instagram Story." The author uploaded a screenshot showing Yuju's Instagram Story, posted on July 24.
According to the content, the photo showed Yuju posing, and the idol used NewJeans' song "Hurt" as the background music.
