A tripleS member has been linked as being one of Source Music's trainees for the original debut team of NewJeans.
During a live stream earlier this year, tripleS member Gong Yubin held a live stream. There, she revealed she was a former trainee under Source Music. She revealed she trained there for around 7-8 months before signing with MODHAUS.
She spoke about the difficulties she experienced as a trainee under Source Music, and how she almost cried every day. She added that her mental health was bad and she lost her willpower often.
However, due to the hardships she experienced, her "inner self" became stronger, and she gained a stronger mentality. Now, she cries less and has regained her willpower. Now that she is under MODHAUS, Gong Yubin reveals she has become more earnest and continues to chase after her dreams passionately.
