The pregnancy rumors surrounding HyunA have been denied by her company. The speculations were raised after netizens were shocked by the idol's marriage news with Yong Junhyung. The announcement was also followed by the reactions from the K-pop community.

On July 29, AT AREA released a brief statement denying the pregnancy rumors made towards HyunA. After the company firmly refuted the speculations, it also hoped that these speculations wouldn't be made anymore in the future.

"The pregnancy rumors surrounding HyunA are not true at all," AT AREA shared. "We hope that these unfounded speculations will not spread any further."

Earlier on January 18, HyunA and Yong Junhyung announced their relationship on their social media by posting the same photo showing them holding hands on a beach. 

The relationship immediately caught backlash from fans due to Yong Junhyung's involvement in the Burning Sun scandal. Ever since her announcement of her relationship, HyunA's reputation and image became the subject of criticism, hate, and mockery across the K-pop community. 

However, the hate was amplified further on July 8, when YTN reported that HyunA and Yong Junhyung would tie the knot on October 11.  

The report eventually reached the attention of their agencies, which released their respective statements. According to both companies, it was confirmed that HyunA and Yong Junhyung will indeed marry in October.

AT AREA shared:

"HyunA and Yong Junhyung have promised to marry, as the two have been a great comfort for each other through hard times. In October, they will hold a ceremony with their closest friends and start a new life together.

We would like to thank everyone who has always supported them with a warm gaze, and we wish for your blessings for the future of HyunA, who has made a big decision as an artist and as a person."

Black Made added:

"Due to their deep affection and trust for each other, Yong Junhyung and HyunA have decided to hold a wedding ceremony with their close acquaintances in October. 

We would be grateful if everyone would send your affectionate attention and congratulations to Yong Junhyung, who will be starting a new chapter as a married individual."

In other news, netizens discussed a photo of HyunA in public, which gained buzz online due to the idol's appearance. 

Many netizens claimed that HyunA had "gained weight" in the photo, as well as raised rumors of pregnancy. Meanwhile, some defended the idol from harsh comments regarding her body.
