Power Vocalist Gaho Joins KAVE to Officially Debut as a Band and Releases New EP, Flight of Ideas

Korean rock band and producer crew KAVE (abbreviation of Kings Always have Veiled Egos) has debuted with EP Flight of Ideas. Singer-songwriter Gaho fronts the band as the lead vocalist, and members Jisang (guitar), Hyun (keyboard), Ownr (keyboard, DJ), and Kekinu (drums).

At KAVE's debut media showcase, held at Musinsa Garage in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on July 23, Gaho gave insight into their creation as the coming together of his friends from high school and college. Though the group was first formed to produce music, the idea of playing musical instruments was later introduced, and the band KAVE was born. Gaho shared his hopes that listeners and fans can come to separate Gaho, the solo artist, from KAVE's Gaho and enjoy the different genres of music explored and released in the future.

Flight of Ideas includes seven self-composed, self-arranged tracks: "Venom," "Legend," "Hurricane," "Dangerous," "Avant," "Crazy Crazy," and "Die for U."

The title track, "Legend," is a hybrid electronic rock track with an intense and addictive hook. The textured vocals bring depth to the lyrics, which speak of conflict and struggle with one's inner self or the alter ego.

KAVE has also released a short-form video for "Venom," produced by Team Us, known as the choreography team behind artists including BoA, NCT, and the BOYZ.
