Girl's Day Hyeri Reveals How She Became Friends With BLACKPINK Rosé, Girls' Generation Taeyeon, More Top Stars

Girl's Day member Hyeri reveals how she became besties with some of the entertainment industry's biggest stars.

On July 30, 2024, the YouTube channel "K Star Next Door" uploaded a video titled "Hyell's Club's host Hye Ri and KStarNextDoor4's host Jonathan finally met!" In the video, the stars of "Victory," Hyeri, Park Se Wan, and Jo Ah Ra had a delightful conversation with Jonathan.

MC Jonathan asked Hyeri, who runs her own YouTube channel, for tips on hosting. Hyeri revealed that her drinking show doesn't have a script. Instead, she asks questions based on her research. She stated, "Hyer's Club doesn't have a script. When a guest is scheduled to appear, I start studying them. I'm curious about what they've been up to recently and what they haven't been able to answer. I study using Wikipedia."

Hyeri is known to be good friends with BLACKPINK's Rosé and Jisoo, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, aespa's Karina, and the actor Byun Woo Seok. During the show, she revealed how she became close to such top stars, stating, "I've been active for a long time. I was on 'Amazing Saturday' for two and a half years. Guests come every week, so we become close. When I contact them, it's hard for them to refuse, so I asked the production team to invite them more."

However, it was revealed that Hyeri only has 233 contacts saved on her phone, which is fewer than expected. She also follows only 89 people on her personal Instagram. Hyeri explained the reason why, stating, "I save numbers like fridge repair services. I also have escape room owners' numbers. It's hard to follow everyone on Instagram."
