A second-generation former idol has Korean netizens shocked with her changed appearance.

On July 31, 2024, former After School member Lizzy shared an update on social media with the message, "Celebrating my birthday with family."

The former idol drew attention with a selfie showcasing her dramatically different face. During her time in After School, she was well-loved for her adorable and lively chars. Now, however, she stands out with more striking and distinct features.

Korean netizens were shocked to see her changed face and even wondered if the use of a filter caused her change in appearance. Many noted that she looked different from her After School days, and even her official profile photo doesn't look like the old her.

Lizzy debuted with After School in 2010 and gained significant popularity as a member of the sub-unit group Orange Caramel.

However, in May 2021, Lizzy caused controversy due to a drunk driving accident. She crashed into a taxi near Yeongdong Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu. At the time, her blood alcohol level was above the license revocation threshold (0.08% or higher). In October of the same year, she was fined 15 million won at her first trial.

Before her first trial, Lizzy broke down in tears, saying, "My life is over." After the sentencing, she halted her activities and took time to reflect. That same year, her contract with her agency, Celltrion Entertainment had expired and would not be renewed. In October 22, Lizzy signed with the agency BK Entertainment.

Her last activities was in 2020. Lizzy was part of the cast of the tvN romantic comedy drama "Oh My Baby," where she played the role of Choi Hyo Joo. She acted alongside Jang Nara, Go Jun, Park Byung Eun, and Jung Gun Joo.
