After doctor Yang Jae Woong-better known as EXID Hani's fiancé-issued a public apology, Dispatch spoke with the mother of Yang's deceased patient, who chastised him for being conceited and smug.
Public outcry over the tragedy has resulted in demands for accountability.
Two months ago, 33-year-old Park passed away at Yang's W Jin Hospital in Bucheon, Korea.
Since her death, no one has been held accountable.
During this time, Yang announced his marriage to Hani and continued his media appearances as usual, drawing criticism from the public and Park's family.
Park's mother protested outside the hospital, demanding the truth about her daughter's sudden death.
According to Dispatch, the hospital staff ignored her and reported her to the police instead of addressing her concerns.
"I lost my daughter. My family is suffering. The people from the hospital walked past me with shamelessness. Not a single one of them apologized. Then, the police showed up. So instead of apologizing to me, the hospital reported me,"
-Park's mother.
Dispatch detailed the events leading to Park's death on May 27, 2024, based on the National Forensic Service's autopsy report, which indicated she died due to an intestinal obstruction.
Despite her complaints of abdominal pain, the hospital confined her to an isolation room and administered tranquilizers instead of calling 911.
Park's mother expressed outrage.
"Even though my daughter complained of abdominal pain, the hospital left her confined in an isolation room. She asked for 911 to be called, but the hospital disregarded her request."

Park, a talented individual who graduated from a prestigious New York university and worked as a teaching assistant in Korea, was admitted to Yang's hospital for addiction to a weight loss pill known as the "butterfly pill" (Phentermine).
She lost her life after 17 days of hospitalization.

When contacted for comments, the hospital told Dispatch, "The person in charge is unavailable."
Park's mother expressed worries about the treatment process at Yang's facility in an interview with Dispatch. She mentioned that Yang was never there throughout Park's hospitalization and that there were no progress updates.
Park's mother detailed the horrendous treatment her daughter endured, which included giving her tranquilizers and confining her to an isolation chamber, which left her confused and unable to speak.
Park's cause of death was determined by the National Forensic Service to be "pseudo-intestinal obstruction," a disorder in which nerve problems induce blockage in the intestines.
The hospital refused Park's mother's appeals for appropriate medical care, classifying her daughter as a "chronic constipation patient" and refusing to provide emergency care.
Other patients reported seeing Park in severe pain, with one patient having to help her off the floor.
CCTV footage showed Park dealing with a nosebleed and asking for 911 to be called, but the hospital ignored her.
Park's mother has since filed a lawsuit against the hospital for negligent manslaughter, insisting that the hospital neglected her daughter and is fully responsible for her death.
She also pointed out that the family was not contacted on the day of Park's death, learning about it only after receiving a call from another hospital.
On May 31, 2024, four days after Park's death, Yang and Hani announced their wedding plans, which Park's family found deeply insensitive.
Yang apologized through his agency, Mystic Story, which Park's family criticized as insincere.
"Yang may have issued a public apology, but he never reached out to our family directly."
