The music video for IVE's "Accendio" was taken down on YouTube, shocking many DIVEs on the spot. On social media, netizens and fans have shared their thoughts regarding the omission, which also led to speculations of a dispute between the song's producers and Starship Entertainment.
Earlier on April 29, IVE officially released their album "IVE Switch," alongside its double title tracks "Heya" and "Accendio." Apart from the two songs, the album also contained B-side tracks "Blue Heart," "Ice Queen," "Wow," and "Reset."

However, on August 2, fans were thrown into a panic when the music video for "Accendio" was suddenly taken down on YouTube.
On social media platform X (Twitter), numerous posts spread online, which showed a caption saying that the MV was removed due to a copyright claim from Jack Brady and Jordan Roman. For further context, the two were one of the producers for "Accendio."

In case anyone doesn't know, Jack Brady and Jordan Roman are two of the songwriters of Accendio. If the mv got taken down they probably have a fairly serious dispute with Starship πΆβπ«οΈ https://t.co/91le1vQTxTpic.twitter.com/XL7UUZygqP
This led fans to speculate that Starship Entertainment had copyright issues with the producers, and wondered if they had failed to pay them their song royalties.
itβs only on YouTube and no other services which leads me to think itβs 1) a Starship mistake 2) crazy antis lolla timing which is extra insane given paper trail 3) misunderstanding/deals/people not paid properly 4) why donβt they have a high enough YouTube rep to resolve this? https://t.co/GtU9RWroFg
I didn't know they deleted the MV and dance video of #ive#accendio He asked me why can someone please tell me that this is happening I only see videos of the rescued and reduced mv on YouTube,π why so much injustice for us. pic.twitter.com/qs7PevG1Zp

Meanwhile, some directed their frustration towards Starship Entertainment and suggested the company resolve the issue immediately.
Stupid ppl who assume the wrong things and blame the girls, as said by the songwriters so it is not stolen, I believe it is the company's fault and hope they fix it asap @STARSHIPent@IVEstarshiphttps://t.co/qt2YNPBmvU
In other news, Jang Wonyoung appeared on MBC's program "Radio Star" on December 9, 2021. Wonyoung then shared about her experience being the maknae (youngest member) during her journey with project girl group IZ*ONE.
Wonyoung shared that she debuted with the group when she was 15 years old and while many people have asked her if the title was a burden, the idol still expressed gratitude for the moniker.
However, the idol's maknae status apparently faded away when she debuted with IVE on December 1, 2021. "I was so used to being with members older than me. But with IVE, there's a member who is three years younger than me," Wonyoung shared.
"I'm not used to treating someone younger than I am," the idol continued. "I want to give them advice and there are things that I want to teach them, but I'm worried I will be called an old geezer."
