Former YGX Members 'Kwon Twins' Name THESE Male & Female Idols as Best Dancers

Who are the best idol dancers for ex-YGX and professional choreographers, Kwon Twins? In a show, they chose one male and one female star.

On August 2, former YGX dancers Deukie & Dony appeared as guests for BIGBANG Daesung's YouTube web entertainment show, "ZIP DAESUNG."

In particular, the Kwon Twins rose to fame as former YGX main dancers & choreographers who worked for 16 years under YG Entertainment and are now pursuing their careers free from a label.

During their stay in the Big 3 agency, Deukie & Dony worked with top stars including BIGBANG & BLACKPINK, the latter even almost debuted with WINNER.

As a result, the twins recalled their relationship with BIGBANG and shared interesting episodes.

When asked who's the best dancer among them, Deukie and Dony chose Taeyang without freestyle, while GD if in terms of freestyling, and explained:

"Taeyang is really good at freestyle, too. But in terms of ability to freestyle, GD has a bit more range."

The twins then teased Daesung that the difference between BIGBANG and other artists was the level of the choreography, but they later clarified:

"BIGBANG is cool. They perform so well on stage. Seriously, if they did it like that and it was awkward, they wouldn't have become BIGBANG."

While on the topic of dancing, Daesung then asked the twins who's the best dancers for them whom they really respect nowadays.

Deukie & Dony without hesitation, answered:

"Lisa, really. Just, ah, Lisa... She's on another level. (Neomsa)"

As for male idol, the twins continued:

"But what I feel these days is SEVENTEEN Mingyu. A style that flaunts while dancing."

Dony added:

"In 'MAESTRO' when you first see Mingyu, he's wearing a hat and does this. He definitely knows he's cool."

Meanwhile, regarding how Dony almost joined WINNER, Daesung drew laughter by exposing her for intimidating the other trainees with his utmost discipline that he's mistaken for an assistant instructor.

Dony then defended himself and said:

"There were some kids who were a bit too cheeky. The A&R noonas said, 'Youngdon, you have to handle this!' I was the leader so I had to choreograph the dances as well.

For about 2-3 years, I didn't sleep much, and then one day I realized, the trainees were in flawless mode. The American kid is saying, 'Hyung, good morning' in 90 degrees bow."
