Kang Daniel Joins Team WayV During ISAC's Relay Race — K-Pop Fans in Frenzy
ISAC 2024 is once again giving K-pop fans unexpected yet wholesome crumbs between idols! Have you seen Kang Daniel x WayV interaction yet?
On August 5, the 2024 Idol Star Athletic Championships (ISAC) held its advanced filming prior to its broadcast in September.
For those who aren't aware, ISAC is an annual event aired every Chuseok holiday by MBC, where K-pop idols gather to compete in various sports competitions and categories.
Aside from the winners, the K-pop community is particularly anticipating interactions between idols which only happen in rare events like this.

Ahead of the broadcast then, Korean fans who were invited as spectators showed their affection to global supporters and decided to share photos and videos taken from the filming, teasing them about what should they anticipate the most from the episode.
This year then, DANITYs (Kang Daniel fans) & WayZenNies (WayV fandom) were sent into a frenzy after the shocking interaction of the group and the K-pop soloist!
In particular, WayV members Xiaojun, Ten, and YangYang were said to join the 100m relay race. Unfortunately, every team should have four members which means that they will not be qualified to join.
Just then, the trio was seen approaching former Wanna One-turned-soloist Kang Daniel and invited him to join his team!

Although Kang is wearing a suit since he's one of the MCs of the event, he gladly accepted the invitation, which truly excites the fans in the venue!
During the relay race then, the four idols showed awesome teamwork and while Daniel lagged as he wasn't wearing an outfit suitable for the game, he still did his best, and team WayV who got 4th place acknowledged it by thanking him repeatedly.
When Daniel fell after passing the baton to Ten, Xiaojun immediately went to escort him to the safe side of the ground and even check if he was fine.

During a short interview with the team after the race, Ten expressed how grateful they were to Daniel, as without him, they wouldn't be able to have the experience of joining the competition. Kang then humbly bowed to them, as WayZenNies loudly cheered for him as well.
Seeing videos and photos of Kang Daniel x WayV crumbs, the two fandoms were truly thankful to each other.
WayZenNies extended their thanks to the male soloist since he agreed immediately without hesitation, fans emphasizing how big of a favor this is for their favorite idols.
DANITYs also thanked WayV for inviting Kang Daniel and for taking care of him throughout the game.
