Top 10 K-pop Artists Dominating Billboard's World Albums Chart In August 2024: Stray Kids, BTS Jimin, More!

Billboard has officially released the newest rankings for its World Albums chart. Among all the other artists that secured spots on the list, several names from the K-pop industry made it the list with their music releases.

1. Stray Kids - 'ATE'

Stray Kids had a great start this 2024 with their newest album "ATE," as the album led the K-pop act to become the first group in history to debut five separate albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album was released on April 16 and its title track "Chk Chk Boom" has also been trending online.

Luminate shared that the album had collected 232,00 equivalent albums in the week ending July 24. According to the platform, the album had gathered 218,000 traditional album sales, 13,000 streaming album units, 19.05 million streams, and 1,000 track equivalent album units.

2. BTS Jimin - 'MUSE'

Jimin followed on No. 2 with his second mini album "MUSE," which was released on July 19. The album, which contained the title track "Who," managed to enter the Top 200 Albums chart in second place.

Furthermore, Jimin became the first Korean soloist ever to enter the chart's Top 2 with more than one album, with the inclusion of his solo 2023 release "FACE."

3. ENHYPEN - 'ROMANCE: UNTOLD'

ENHYPEN made it to No. 3 with their second full album "ROMANCE: UNTOLD." The album, which was released on July 12, made it to second place in Billboard's Top 200 albums.

According to sources, "ROMANCE: UNTOLD" successfully collected a 124,000 figure for its equivalent album units for the week that concluded on July 18.

The results were analyzed, and it was revealed that 117,000 traditional album sales were garnered, alongside 7,000 streaming units, and 9.53 million audio streams.

4. NCT 127 - 'WALK'

NCT 127 ended up on No. 4 with its sixth full-length album "WALK," which was released on July 15.

5. aespa - 'Armageddon'

The top five was rounded by aespa, who claimed the spot with their first full album "Armageddon." The album was released on May 27. Apart from "Armageddon," the album also contained another title track "Supernova," which also trended in the K-pop community.

6. ATEEZ - 'GOLDEN HOUR: Part 1'

7. TXT - 'minisode 3: TOMORROW'

8. SEVENTEEN - '17 IS RIGHT HERE'

9. BTS - 'Proof'
