Red Velvet Makes 1st-Ever Entry in Billboard 200 With ‘Cosmic,’ Luvies Overjoyed: ‘No Proper Promo, Just Organic'

Red Velvet entered the Billboard 200 and other charts with their album "Cosmic." ReVeluvs were ecstatic over the group's achievement, prompting them to congratulate the girls on social media.

On August 12, Billboard shared that Red Velvet's newest mini-album "Cosmic" had entered its Top 200 Albums chart at No. 145.

The comeback was released in South Korea on digital platforms in June, but the physical version was released on August 2, leading to its Top 200 Albums chart entry.

Billboard also shared that "Cosmic" had entered other charts in Billboard. The release managed to enter the Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales charts at No. 6. It also successfully entered No. 4 on the World Albums chart and No. 20 on the Independent Albums chart.

Aside from their music, the group itself made waves on the chart. Red Velvet appeared for the first time at Billboard's Artist 100 and claimed the No. 40 spot.

Fans reacted enthusiastically to Red Velvet's achievements and congratulated the girls on social media. Luvies also pointed out how organic Red Velvet's success was, given the quintet's lack of "Cosmic" promotions across international areas.

This includes the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, Taiwan, and many more.

"Cosmic" also reigned on AWA's real-time rising chart in Japan and other music charts in China. It also dominated Tencent Music's K-pop Chart, alongside QQ Music, and KuGou Music's digital album sales charts.

Congratulations to Red Velvet for their impressive feats!
