Taemin appeared on the cover of ELLE Korea's September issue. In the pictorial, Taemin also took his time to answer interview questions from the magazine.

During the interview, the magazine mentioned Taemin's impact on the K-pop scene and expressed that despite his 17th year since debut, the SHINee maknae has continued to gain new fans along the way.

Taemin responded with how thankful he was and also hoped that his new mini album can stick with his fans 10 years from now. The soloist also shared his thoughts on his birth flower, the pansy, which was shown in his album concept trailer.

Taemin: "I'm so grateful if that's correct. I don't think there are many teams that were able to be active for such a long time as we have, collectively as SHINee and individually as soloists. But I want to be an unforgettable memory for many people."

Taemin: "I think my new song would be something people will view as nostalgic 10 years from now. As the flower language itself specifies the moment I debuted, I wanted to tell its meaning, that just like my birth flower, I am always active as Taemin no matter where I belong."

Taemin also shared his thoughts on his MC role for Mnet's upcoming program "Road to Kingdom: Ace of Ace." He was also asked about his proudest accomplishment since making his debut in 2008.

Taemin: "Many of my juniors picked me as their role model. I thought that if I became an MC on this program featuring male idol groups, it would be a symbolic memory that I can be proud of when I reflect to when I'm older."

Taemin: "I'm most proud of the path I've walked with SHINee members. We didn't give up and we kept going. I also felt like there were many people who bonded with us with their support, so I'm thankful to be able to live this way."

On August 19, Taemin released his fifth mini-album "Eternal," alongside its title tracks "Sexy In The Air" and "Horizon."
