The K-pop industry has been busy this August, as many artists have trended due to their social media presence, music releases, activities, and many more. While groups may collectively gain the spotlight, individual members can also gain attention on their own.
To measure their popularity, the Korean Business Research Institute officially unveiled its newest brand reputation rankings, which involves K-pop girl group members. The organization managed to collect huge data from July 18 to August 18.
The results were analyzed by determining factors such as the idols' overall engagement with their fans, the participation of consumers, and media exposure.
Here are the Top 30 most popular K-pop girl group members in August 2024!
1. IVE Jang Wonyoung
With a brand reputation index of 5,671,379, Jang Wonyoung made it on No. 1 this August.
2. aespa Karina
Karina followed in second place after receiving a brand reputation index of 5,473,424. The aespa leader has also been gaining attention across community forums and social media for her updates and activities with aespa.
3. cignature Jeewon
Jeewon of cignature claimed No. 3 after seeing a brand reputation index of 3,730,451.
4. IVE An Yujin
Yujin claimed the No. 4 spot with a brand reputation index of 3,714,334.
5. aespa Winter
Winter closed down the top five after garnering a brand reputation index of 3,714,334.
6. Girls' Generation Taeyeon
Taeyeon claimed No. 6 this August due to having a brand reputation index of 3,714,334.
7. Apink Eunji
Eunji of Apink received a brand reputation index of 2,896,352, earning her place at No. 7.
8. KISS OF LIFE Natty
Natty received a brand reputation index of 2,374,351, which placed her at No. 8.
9. BLACKPINK Jennie
In No. 9, Jennie received a brand reputation index of 1,825,557.
10. Red Velvet Seulgi
The top 10 was rounded up by Seulgi, who successfully garnered a brand reputation index of 1,722,140.
