Taeil Abused Victim For 6 Years? Account Draws Attention For Social Media Posts About Idol's Crimes

Amid Taeil's criminal accusations and removal from NCT, netizens caught grasp of an account claiming to have been the idol's victim. The internet user's claims and sentiments regarding Taeil went viral, which drew sympathy and outcry on social media.

On August 28, SM Entertainment released an official statement detailing Taeil's departure from NCT. According to the agency, Taeil was sued for a criminal case that was related to a sexual crime. After an in-depth discussion with Taeil, his activities with NCT were ultimately concluded.

SM Entertainment also shared that Taeil is fully cooperating with the police investigation. The agency added that further details would be released regarding the ongoing case. Lastly, the company apologized for the distressing news.

Following the news, Korean news outlets initially reported how Taeil's case was connected to a sexual offense against a minor of the same sex. The reports caught the attention of the Bangbae Police Station. The precinct, which is currently handling the case, denied the claims.

"The investigation is not related to an investigation into sexual crimes against minors of the same gender." Bangbae Police Station's Youth and Women's Division Director Lee In Chun also shared, "I'm currently at home from work. I will look into the facts uploaded to the server tomorrow (August 29)."

While the criminal investigation was being carried out, a separate story was brewing on the internet. On August 29, Instagram user @agnes_121430 went viral on social media due to her posts regarding Taeil.

According to X (Twitter) online, the user had accused Taeil of sexual assault, blackmail, threatening to kill her hospitalized mother, hacking, and placing a secret camera on her phone for six years. Netizens expressed their sympathies to the victim.

Most directed their outrage to Taeil, as fans condemned the idol for his criminal accusations.

"The user @/agnes_121430 posted that it happened 6 years ago. That was 2018 and this m*ron only got caught now? I hope she gets the justice that she deserves. And please, don't you guys dare involve other members nor mention their names along with this scu*bag name."
