30 Most Popular K-pop Idols In August 2024: aespa Karina, IVE Jang Wonyoung, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo, More!
The month of August is nearly ending, and many K-pop idols have made headlines due to their social media updates, music releases, activities, achievements, and many more.
In order to measure the popularity of K-pop idols this August, the Korean Business Research Institute unveiled its newest brand reputation rankings. The organization gathered data from July 22 to August 22.
The results were then determined by analyzing factors such as the participation of consumers, the idols' coverage by the media, and their overall engagement with fans.
Here are the 30 most popular K-pop idols in August 2024!
1. aespa Karina
Karina received a brand reputation index of 3,371,337 for August, earning her the No. 1 spot. The idol also trended for being Prada's newest brand ambassador, as well as for releasing content, social media updates, and engaging in activities with aespa.
2. IVE Jang Wonyoung
Jang Wonyoung managed to follow in second place, where she garnered a brand reputation index of 3,442,962. Wonyoung managed to make noise on social media with her updates and schedules with IVE.
3. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
Cha Eun Woo managed to secure the Top 3 by gathering a brand reputation index of 3,251,136.
4. Girls' Generation Taeyeon
Taeyeon made it to No. 4 after seeing a brand reputation index of 3,0-87,642. The SNSD leader also trended for her collaboration with Sam Smith in the song "I'm Not The Only One" to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album "In The Lonely Hour."
5. BTS Jin
With a brand reputation index of 2,977,916, Jin rounded up the top five.
6. BTS Jimin

Jimin followed at No. 6 with a brand reputation index of 2,302,093.
7. IVE An Yujin
Ahn Yujin successfully collected a brand reputation index of 2,302,093, earning her seventh place.
8. aespa Winter
Winter managed to claim No. 8 with a brand reputation index of 2,188,874.
9. KISS OF LIFE Natty
Natty received a brand reputation index of 2,047,084, claiming No. 9.
10. RIIZE Wonbin
Wonbin completed the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 1,958,766.
