NewJeans Minji Vents Frustration Amid ADOR-HYBE Conflict: 'Why Do We Need to Suffer?'
In the middle of infighting between HYBE and ADOR, NewJeans Minji took to phoning to express frustration, hinting at how the conflict is widely affecting the group and their fans.
After Min Hee Jin was replaced as the CEO of ADOR, the changes set by the new management are already being felt by both NewJeans and its fandom, Bunnies.
On Sept. 2nd, the group's supporters were perplexed after learning that videos from Ban Heeseo's YouTube channel were all deleted. This account was based on a character that represents Bunnies, and it is a "safe place" for them.
It not only contains special memories with the five members with their fans, but the conceptual world of "Ditto" was also gone, which is a global hit track that elevated the girl group's position in the music scene.
Recently, Director Shin Woo Seok, who heads Dolphiners Films announced that they will no longer work with NewJeans, following the change in management.

It is also noteworthy that Min Hee Jin is a "mother" figure to the girl group, thus, kicking her out of her position wounded them.
Following this news, Bunnies complained on various social media platforms, also calling out HYBE for trying to sabotage NewJeans.
Amid all of these, NewJeans remained silent but the eldest member and leader Minji was not able to hold back and finally exploded, as she penned a long letter on Phoning.

The young female star, started by greeting fans and said:
"Hello Bunnies. The weather today is so nice. I couldn't withstand the heat and wished that summer would pass by hurriedly. However, although the sky was becoming clear and I could feel that autumn was coming, I rather felt uneasy today. "
She hinted at her awareness of the ADOR vs HYBE conflict and continued:
"I've been meaning to tell you about this and that in my day, but I wasn't able to. It's been a week then. I wanted to come and comfort Bunnies who were concerned and are comforting us, assuring you that, 'it is fine,' but I am not confident to do so this time.
The day already passes by so quickly for us to even talk about good things, so why do we have to needlessly suffer? I'm deeply sorry about that, and I'm really frustrated that I can't do anything to resolve it at all."
Before the message ended, she let out despair and added:
"Even as I am writing it, just like yesterday, there is nothing that I can do and nothing that I can resolve. I don't know when will the days of uncertainty will end, and though it might be selfish of me to say this, I hope Bunnies and us will no longer need to suffer. I apologize for doing this at a late time. Good night."
