NewJeans stormed the K-pop community with an explosive livestream video, where they called out HYBE's dismissal of Min Hee Jin in ADOR and mistreatment towards the group. Moreover, they also demanded the reinstatement of Min Hee Jin as CEO of ADOR.

Earlier on August 27, Min Hee Jin stepped down as ADOR CEO, and that another internal director was now appointed for the role. On September 11, all five members of NewJeans held a livestream on YouTube to address several matters related to HYBE and Min Hee Jin.

In the final part of the video, the members demanded HYBE to reinstate Min Hee Jin by September 25.

Hyein: "HYBE is operating dishonestly to us. Stop interfering, reinstate our CEO, and return the original ADOR environment. We're not looking for special treatment, we just want everyone to do their jobs well, and we'll do our best in our roles too. We hope this request reaches you."

Danielle: "I hope you stop bothering our CEO, Min Hee Jin. Honestly, she seems pitiful, and HYBE is coming across as an inhumane company."

Minji: "We want the original ADOR with Min Hee Jin as CEO, and her leading both management and production. As for the reason why we're requesting this, is because this is the only way we can get along with HYBE."

Minji: "If our request reaches you well, we hope Chairman Bang and HYBE will make the wise decision to restore ADOR to its original state by the 25th. Thank you for listening."
