Choi Minhwan's ex-wife, former Laboum Yulhee, is gaining mixed reactions for excessive talk about her private life, including their divorce.
On October 15, Yulhee (26) will appear on TV Chosun's entertainment program, "Now I'm Alone," which will reflect her single life after divorce.
In a pre-broadcast teaser on the 8th, the idol was seen shedding tears and raising anticipation after she said:
"We are such a happy family, and we have overcome everything. I initially thought that this kind of crisis happens once in a while."
Following this video, some viewers sympathized with her and are rooting for the "second act" of her life.
In particular, Yulhee was first known as a Laboum member in 2014. However, she left the group in 2017 after her relationship with FTISLAND Choi Minhwan was revealed.
The following year, she retired from the music scene following their marriage and became a full-time mom of one son and twin daughters.
The family of five was once admired for being an ideal household but in December 2023, the couple broke many fans' hearts after announcing Yulhee and Minhwan's divorce.

At the time, the female star gave up the custody of her three kids and excluding Yulhee, the hereinafter family of four joined KBS 2TV's "The Return of Superman," showing Minhwan's journey as a single dad.
While Minhwan received a lot of support, Yulhee rather gained criticism for joining a program that will openly talk about divorce and parenting.
Viewers are concerned that Yulhee is trying to capitalize on her divorce, without thinking that it may affect her three kids. Since they were forced to become public figures at such young ages, it is not inevitable for them to be exposed to media and their family matters.
Netizens also complained that rather than revealing their private lives through broadcast, people are suggesting Yulhee earn money by returning to her main job, which is being a K-pop idol.
