'Justice for Seunghan': BRIIZEs, More Fandoms Unite to Boycott SM Entertainment

BRIIZEs joined hands with other K-pop fandoms in seeking justice for Seunghan after he was allegedly forced to leave RIIZE due to the intense bullying he experienced.

While SM Entertainment explained that Seunghan leaving RIIZE was to address OT6 K-BRIIZE's protest, a barrage of fans and more fandoms showed their combined power in boycotting the label.

On Oct. 14th, several RIIZE fan unions both in Korea and abroad announced that they would boycott SM and make them revert to its original decision, voicing that they would only support them if "RIIZE is 7."

The boycott will include ignoring, unfollowing, and decreasing interaction with RIIZE's SNS and streaming platforms. Fans also decided to not buy the group's merchandise, and tickets for fan events nor do any steps that will promote the group.

They clarified that this doesn't aim to sabotage the group but to show the label that international fans' opinions are stronger and more valid than what they think.

Also, OT7 fans want to make SM realize that they should not only consider Korean fans' views but also feel international fans' greater love for Seunghan.

Following this, other K-pop fandoms, regardless of past fan wars showed their support to BRIIZEs, sympathizing with how labels barely protect their artists and give them the treatment that they deserve.

Earlier, Seunghan who penned his departure letter to fans was spotted in front of SM alone, looking at the funeral wreaths sent to him.
