On October 21, G-Dragon's social media account on Instagram uploaded several black images that seemingly hinted his solo comeback.
The post only captioned "Beyond-black," which piqued the interest of netizens.
However, some figured out that by increasing the image's brightness, a "hint" inside the photo would appear. The caption states, "Loading... Progress: 10%."
Fans expressed their excitement with comments such as, "Is this real? Welcome back G-Dragon," "We have been eagerly anticipating," and "The King is finally back!"
Following this, many were assured that this mysterious post might have signaled the green light for G-Dragon's new solo music. Previously on October 8, Korean news outlet News1 reported that G-Dragon's comeback will be scheduled for October 25.
G-Dragon's agency Galaxy Corporation responded to the reports, saying that nothing has been finalized yet regarding the comeback date.
In other news, G-Dragon trended in the K-pop community for his "crumbs" with 2NE1 during the iconic quartet's concert. Among the list of stars who had attended the show, G-Dragon was present during the video tribute for 2NE1 by numerous K-pop stars.
