The anticipation for TWICE's upcoming 14th mini album "Strategy" has been piling up ever since its announcement on October 21. However, JYP Entertainment released a sudden update postponing one of the group's concept photos.
On November 12, ONCEs gathered in a community thread titled, 'TWICE's Statement For Their Concept Photos." The author then uploaded a screenshot of the agency's statement.
JYP shared that the concept photo has now been rescheduled to November 14 instead of the 13th. The company also expressed gratitude to fans for their kind understanding.
OP also shared, "Without any announcement ahead, they delayed for 11 hours, so it's understandable if people were upset."
Some netizens were frustrated by the sudden postponement. They included remarks such as, "They should've just released the statement at midnight," and "How does this make sense?"
However, international fans think that the statement referred to the passing of actor Song Jae Rim on November 12. Commenters believed the agency had delayed the concept photo's release to respect the deceased.
One mentioned the statement's wording, "Is it because of the actor who passed away? Then they should've specified this and sent condolences instead of being vague, which can confuse fans and lead to misunderstanding."
