BIGHIT MUSIC has released a statement announcing the temporary break of TXT member Soobin.
On November 19, the agency announced on the fan platform Weverse that Soobin would undergo a temporary hiatus. BIGHIT MUSIC then shared that Soobin had experienced "signs of being unwell" and was sent to the hospital for medical attention.
According to the medical staff, Soobin was advised to take his time to rest and recover. After discussing TXT's activities with the rest of the members, it was concluded that Soobin would be prioritizing his recovery.
As a result, Soobin would be unable to attend multiple scheduled events, such as the 2024 MAMA Awards, the group's "ACT: PROMISE" Encore Show in Japan, fan meetings, and other end-of-the-year ceremonies.
"We would like to apologize to our fans and ask for your generous understanding," the agency added.
